About Us

The Eco Cell at St. John's meets monthly on the fourth Thursday of the month at St. John's United Church.  We are a grass roots ecological organization that is involved in local, provincial, national and worldwide initiatives.

Over the past years we have attended eco-justice related demonstrations and walks, written letters and circulated petitions, and sponsored public presentations, including  a presentation on Climate Change and Food for the Future. We have also held courses from the Northwest Earth Institute and encourage individual action to reduce our environmental footprint.

New members are always welcome!
